The food in the cafeteria was underwhelming with an excess of unhealthy, meats, fats, sugar, salt and carbohydrates. One wouldn't expect this from a hospital.

Stay away from the cafeteria.

Took my child in via A&E, very polite and soft spoken nurse attended, still only 1 parent allowed in so had to wait outside until the other came back out with my baby. Speedy service thank god but a hefty bill to glue her wound. All staff coming on and off evening shift were very polite, Jesus bless them all. Unfortunately no care instructions given so went online to see what typically is suggested for these types of injuries. All that was given was info on concussion. Changed bandage 3 days later to notice glue did not hold entire wound closed.

My mom did a surgery here last month. I was jealous of how much attention she received from the nurses for her short stay. A nurse stopped by the room at least twice per hour. Very great staff. The pharmacy carries a higher markup than others though FYI.

After paying so much money for my grandmother some of their staff needs to learn customer service. They need to be retrain customers come first.

Did a medical at the the beginning of august said the report would be available in 2 weeks 3 weeks goes by and I literally have to beg for it this is the 5 week and no calls to have my review done.steupsss

Great experience being a patient and working as a physician there.

Payment is required before the emergency treatment is completed in emergency service. Upfront desk employee was very rude to me as a patient's relative. They do not respect patient rights also.

I called into the Hospital this morning to make an appointment to visit Dr. Alexander. Upon making the call the woman whose on duty @11: 00am 22/02/2020 answered with her usual greetings. However having been brought up with manners I told her good morning in which in turn she outright refused to reciprocate. Is this the standard behaviour of your employees? This is very unprofessional and distasteful

I was in an accident in August. Got whiplash and a bleeding eye. I went to West Shore Medical for treatment. About a month after the insurance company requested a report of the injury I received in the accident. Went and paid for the report and was told I will get it in two weeks. I went after the two weeks to collect the report and it was not ready. They said I will receive it during the week. I waited and did not receive any call to pick up the report. I decided to go and check on it. It is now more than three weeks. Still no report was done. I had to go and carry on and insist that they do the report or give me back my money. I was then told that I have to come for seven am in the morning to speak to another Doctor who will write up the report. When I got there for 7: 00am the said doctor did not remember he had to do the report. I had to carry on again before I eventually was told that he will do it and I can come back in the afternoon to collect it. I did eventually collect it that afternoon.it just goes to show that these so-called big hospital don't care about anyone. All they want is your money.

I went to pick up a sick leave for my friend and waited 45 mins for the receptionist to arrive then left without the sick leave. The place is clean but some people need to be there on time. I passed in the evening at 4.30 hoping I can meet her but she left for the day.

Dr. Eric Richards is the best OB/GYN. The midwife and nurses were wonderful and extremely professional. Definitely having my next baby there under Dr. Richards' care

I tried calling every number and every extension to their telephone line/s for three days on multiple/multiple.occassions each time getting the same responses "The person you are trying to reach is not available or This mailbox is full or This extension is not accepting calls or my favorite is when it just says You are Now Exiting our System Please Call AgainThank You" then you're suddenly disconnected.
I live in Miami and it Is very, very frustrating and fearful when you can't do something as basic and simple as contact your loved one come crunch time and have to depend on family, friends and visitors for an updated report, when all you want to do is hear their voice and tell them I'm thinking about you, feel better i love you sleep well at 10PM.when everyone else has gone home and their all alone.
However.my little old elderly sick mother who says "cell phone.too many buttons, it confuses me" has trusted this facility to be admitted 7 times the past 3yrs. For that they.must be doing something right and they get an extra. As a nurse working for the US Federal Govt i understand how busy the medical work enviroment can be But i just wish they would answer their ringing phones every once in a while or spend some of that money and update their phone system to automatically connect to an individual room extension.e. G.diamond room dial ext 1232 or ruby room enter ext 1234.of course phone within the patient's reach. Thanks for reading my vent.

Possibly the best private medical facility in Trinidad and Tobago. Well staffed with onsite radiology and lab facilities.

Have no complaints with the Emergency department. Had to use them a few times including when I gave birth to my son in the car!

Respectful service received for relatives' medical situations and infant delivery. Rooms were sanitary and quiet.

Super great hospital unlike any other. It's the Hyatt Regency of Hospitals, complete with a menu to choose from, healthy wholesome eating and always there to cater even at 2 am! No waiting at the E R. Speedy discharge. I love West Shore
