I didn't want to give any stars at all. It's October 7th 2023. This restaurant came highly recommended but I guess we were out of luck. We walked out. Ordered water when we went in and almost an hour and a half later still no water. Eventually the waitress came, we decided to order our meal. After almost 30 mins we were told that we could not get our complete order because some of the stations were closed off. That's crazy. I read the reviews and thought ok we'll try them but I cannot recommend you guys. You need more staff. You need more staff. You need more staff. My husband went to the bar for a drink and the man behind the bar asked him what about his attendant? And still we had no drinks.

What a wonderful restaurant situated right on the beach. OMG, the views of the sunset are amazing. The view and sound of the beach created the most wonderful atmosphere for dinner. The food was very delicious and very filling. Compliments to the chef. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was within budget. Highly recommended and will definitely repeat.

Sat in the sun for 20-30mins waiting for a menu as servers passed all around me, some even looking directly at me and going about their business. Customers came in after me and got their menus and place setting. Ending up going to neighbouring restaurant that wasnt even open yet but still greeted me better.

Fantastic environment for a holiday getaway. Fast efficient staff and service. A special feature was the Carribbean garden salad with the secret chandon Beni drizzled over it. Also, the Barman perfected the Black Rock Bonfire. And the cheese cake finishes off an even of delights.

Visited again a year later and did not like menu as much, it was also too hot. It to have fans in main seating area. I also though service was slower and not helpful. Undeniably lovely location - but was disappointed this time as had 5* experience on my first visit.

First time going to waves and I will be back with company. The service was great. The food was amazing and the environment was so relaxing. I have already started recommending this place to visitors and locals.so far this is my favorite place to have lunch.would soon be trying most of the items on their menu

This is the perfect restaurant. Amazing food, engaging staff and ambiance oozing perfection - literally on the beach with gently lapping waves.

Place only looks good on Google. Got there and was seated near to the kitchen. So it was extremely hot and breeze wasn't blowing. Waited 45 mins before we got drinks.food took very long and when we got it.it was cold.waiter didn't check us back until we got the food about 2 hours later. Potions was very small.and there were cockroaches running around. Told the waiter and she wanted go move me closer to the kitchen.which was very hot.worst ever. Never again completely waste of money.

I had such a wonderful time at Grafton Hotel and Waves restaurant. The hotel and restaurant was short staffed but my server Latoya and two other young ladies were so helpful. The kitchen staff also came out and delivered food at a timely manner for breakfast. The drinks at Waves were great and the atmosphere was breathtaking. I'm happy that I chose Grafton for my mini vacation.

I had such a lovely experience at Waves restaurant when I visited Tobago last month. The food, drinks, atmosphere and vibes was amazing. I have to send a special shout-out to LaToya and her wonderful team for making my visit to Grafton Hotel and Waves restaurant the lovely experience that it was. I can't thank LaToya enough. She and her team were so professional and kind. I loved my stay and I will definitely visit Grafton and Waves restaurant again soon.

Food was great for the price and view breathe taking! The server was wonderful! I could relate to some of the comments about the staff not being super friendly, but i think there is a misconception of people in the Caribbean needing to be super excited friendly at any time of the day. With that being said you needed to warm up the sever with a good convo before you got the smile.

Love the sound of the waves, Food was tasty. Washroom was unclean and customer service needed improvement. I went twice and got excellent treatment from one of the waiters. The next time I went, another waiter attended and gave us alot of attitude. This just killed the whole vibe.

This restaurant has a unique setting with the deck right above the beach and with a beautiful ocean view. The menu covers a lot of food styles that should please everyone. All meals 7 days a week, full bar, great service (Teiba and Darian are great!) it's one of my go to when I come to Tobago. I would love to see a proper espresso machine there for nice coffees

This is a restauraunt that my friends and I frequent, however they just can't seem to get it together. Consistency is key, but this establishment is a hit and miss. The fish tacos were very fresh and lacked seasoning, the sadwiches were the same. The jumbo coconut shrimp was good as was the burger. We could not dine in peace as there were sooo many flies. Management did apologize and remove some of the items from the bill. On a good note the ambiance is always

Food poor! Service Poor! Typical Tobago Customer Service. Maybe have some staff training sessions on customer service. Remember to taste before you serve. But Nivardo was awesome! Him I will give 5 stars.

Never eat here if you have any self
respect. Me and my boyfriend got horrible food poison from this place. We were both sick in bed for 3 days which ruined our trip to Tobago. Avoid at all costs it’s not worth it.

The food wasnt bad, definitely a good view and atmosphere. However we ordered before hand for take away. The staff seemed very unused to doing this. Alot of the menu options we ordered seemed to be the first time the staff had ever prepped them to go, and they didn't have lids for the hot drinks or ways to translate certain dishes to a carry out format. Driving home with open hot cocoa is not a nice experience. Hope it improves

The food and service was horrible. I assume the restaurant is under new management because this terrible service is something new.

Both my fiance and I enjoyed waves very much, our first time was yesterday and we're going again tonight, the food was exceptional, the cocktails we're amazing and the service we're awesome, we will definitely recommend to anyone.
