St Helena Health Centre

The first few times, people were really nice and helpful. But the last time, the nurse who saw to me was unhelpful, withheld medical care and gave me wrong information (I confirmed with a doctor and another nurse at the same health centre). I addressed this with her supervisor who just excused the behaviour. Please go somewhere else if you can to avoid potential negative consequences to your health.

ON SATURDAY JULY 10TH 2021I VISITED THIS FACILITY WITH MY NEPHEW THE CLOSING TIME IS 1 PM. I ARRIVED AT APPROXIMATELY 12.15. FROM THE TIME I ENTERED THEY HAD A PROBLEM I OVERHEARD THE CLERK TELLING ANOTHER PERSON WHY WE CHOOSE THAT TIME TO COME IN THE NURSE WAS VERY PIGGISH WITH MY NEPHEW HUSTLING HERE AND THERE WHEN WE WENT TO THE DOCTOR OFFICESHE ALSO HAD A PROBLEM ASKING ME WHY I COME SO LATE I TOLD HER I NOW GOT TRANSPORT SHE TELLS ME SHE WAS GOING TO LEAVE I SAID WELL DON'T U CLOSE AT 1 PM SHE ASKED ME WHAT WAS WRONG WITH HIM I TOLD HER SHE BPRESCRIBED ANTIBIOTICS WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME WHAT HE'S ALLERGIC TO THE STAFF VOF VST HELENA HEALTH CENTER ARE ALL PIGS AND I WILL TELL ANY ONE BWHO BASKED VOTE SAM ETHING TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

They never answer their phone and the staff is very unfriendly they speak to you with no humility especially athe front staff poor service.

The way the doctors and nurses even the security treated my mom with such care and compassion. They went beyond their call of duty. Others should learn something from them. A little goes a long way.

I was treated for an ingrown hair follicle in my head that was swollen and painful. Nurses and doctor was gentle and very professional.

I am not from the area but was treated with such professionalism and warmth. My daughter had her minor surgery for ingrown toenails and the doctor and nurse were delicate in their actions towards her. Thank you to the staff.

The best health center in all of Trinidad. Easy timely care. Staff was really kind and friendly.
