I had my tonsillectomy done here, the staff is very nice and I didn’t have any bad experiences 10/10

I never felt so comfortable.
I have visited medical institutions in the past and many times i feel so much regret because of the bad attitude of the staff.
Not here.
I visited the Southern Medical Clinic on Friday 16th June 2023. From the call to book my appointment to the procedure the RADIOLOGY STAFF was kind, supportive, patient, and accommodating.
The receptionist who scheduled my appointment (Natasha) thank you. The two front desk receptionist and Two technicians the security downstairs thank you.
Well done. Exemplary health care service.

Appointments mean nothing here. Prepare to have your time wasted. My appointment was at 9: 00am. Left at 9: 50am since the doctor couldn't be bothered to see me.

Excellent medical care center with a wide variety of medical services including executive medical, full hematology clinic, dental, cardiology and general family care. A well qualified l, attentive staff with really excellent after patient care. Located with an amazing view as well.

I wish there was an option for zero stars.
Both my mom and sister used this facility. Sadly my sister died after 2 surgeries in this facility (one deemed unnecessary by US standards) my mom was admitted for a simple procedure for which they tried to gouge our family for things that are not beneficial for a 87 year old patients. Word of caution - This is a legal criminal operation preying on the sick and vulnerable.

Did not want to give any star.my uncle passed away after they did surgery on him.just sad and angry because of the lies they told my family

Very good private healthcare facility, the nurses, midwives, and doctors were all very professional, warm and caring. Nothing much but a great thank you to the team that dealt with the birth of my child, the before care and after care, the whole nine yards. Would definitely recommend checking here out especially for check ups/care during pregnancy and delivery. The patient rooms are well kept and staff check in on you regularly to ensure it's clean and maintained. The food is really nice as well (never thought I'd enjoy hospital food), overall everyone and everything at Southern Medical did a fantastic job while my girlfriend and I were there.

There are certainly some capable professionals working here but I honestly don't understand the thinking of the management. There appears to have been very little thought given to the safety of patients and staff when it comes to entering/exiting the facility. The building takes up the entire space. Think 1 lot of land and ready to build a mansion kind of metality.

It is very very expensive but the staff is very kind and helpful.
Thank you to Dr Giddings (Internal) for his kind manner and extremely helpful assistance.thank you to the very kind nurse who attended to my father. The next doctor (operating) chaged us $2000.00 for coming and telling us the same thing that dr Giddings told us and how much it would cost us to do the operation there. But we were very grateful for any help we could get.and they are very professional and knowledgeable.
Two things-you must have plenty money and also make sure you get your CT scans on a cd when leaving.
I highly recommend Dr. Giddings.
The outside cafe area is very nice to wait.
Just make sure and have plenty plenty money and you would get good care and treatment.

The staff is so welcoming. I had surgery done on 2nd October 2021 & i am so very pleased with the service i received the doctors & nurses every single one of them is so passoniate about their job I am so amazed i was treated with love & care! I am so grateful & thanful for them & I highly recommed Southern Medical.

Once you are financially sound you can afford good health care you going to be treated like royalty only for the affordable rate. Everything that is use to facilitate your stay needs to be paid for. You going to get the best care at a price. Helpful advice and assistance from the health care workers

Southern Medical has been a private health service in south Trinidad for decades. My family and I have used this facility over the past several years. The services we've used have been very good despite the fact that the physical infrastructure is on the older side. However, the place is spotlessly clean and services are delivered on time. There are some very reputable doctors working here, like Dr. Rupert Indar (the hospital founder), Dr. Francis Mulrain, Orthopedic surgeon (my doctor) and Dr. Maharaj (Orthopedics). I understand that the Cancer treatment facility is relatively new and modern which offers a range of cancer therapies. I have always received very good service here and cannot complain. I would recommend this place to people seeking private medical treatment.

My name is judean Lennon sheriff i was admitted on 10 D female ward level 13, i am a Jamaican, cant complain the doctors and nurses treat me very good, in my mind i though it was the worse because i get so much bad info on san Fernando hospital, but it was nothing like what people talking about Trinidadian doctors and nurses are good peopleheart a love goes out to them

Mixed feelings about this place. They do have some really good doctors and the actual service is very good. But. They pricey and usually want the cash upfront. Plus you might find yourself questioning some of the items on bills (you should especially when you cranking out that kinda money).

Just started working here and I am loving the people here, Very warming and cheerful. Not a stressful area to work with. More Power to the admin and my colleagues.

This is by far one of San Fernando's finest Medical Institutions, that I will continue to proudly give a 5 star recommendation to anyone in need. Southern Medical is always spotless (yes their bathroom facilities inclusive) they boast some of the very best doctors and nurses, their entire staff from orderly's come right up will always extend themselves for patients and supporting family members. Their medical care is nothing short of amazing. Everyone speaks to you with extreme courtesy and a smile on their faces. They are efficient and run a tight ship. Last by no means least if you are ever there I highly suggest a pop into their snackette located outside their pastries and food are delicious. There is also free wi-fi available in the waiting rooms.
