10 I have nothing but full praise for the doctors and staff at all levels at this institution. On December 12th, 2022, my wife was admitted to the accident and emergency while on a short vacation in Tobago. To make a long story short, a life-threatening condition that was not previously discovered while being treated by another private medical institution was revealed, which required immediate surgery. To make the situation even worse, my wife had pulmonary embolism in her lungs, also discovered in a CT scan, which was done. This heightened the chances of her not waking up (sudden death) if a clot was to travel to her heart while under anesthesia being operated on for the other life-threatening issue.
I thank the doctors for their expert consultation, Dr Bell, and his team.the head anesthesiologist (I'm so sorry, I can't recall her name). But her attention and expert care is what got me through this hardship.
The loving care of the ICU nurses and those on the surgical ward who worked tirelessly for which I'm forever grateful.
We are sometimes so quick to bad talk or abuse members of staff.but I just want to totally applaud all for the splendid work that was done here.
And the Christmas and New Year gifts of my wife being alive and with us.
Thank you

Words cannot describe my experience, sitting outside the hospital all night until the next day with my toddler getting wet while Doctor on his phone watching videos on social media and of course he couldn't even bother because his shift was closing of at 11pm, why would he have even an ounce of compassion for a child, cold heartless and wickedness
My wife had cause to take me here while visiting the island, little did I know I was actively suffering heart failure, the emergency staff in Hazmat gear stabilized me and I believe I owe my life to them all. Special thanks to Dr. Timothy, Dr. Arthur, Nurse Bob, the many doctors and nurses whose names I don't know or remember, Tracey, La Toya, and a special thanks to the first person to attend to me out by the car, I don't know her name, but I am alive today despite making pin cushion jokes while you took care of me. Thank you all. AMW 3D 6-11-21 to 8-11-21
Hats off to the Doctors, nurses, anesthesists, EMTs, attendants, wardsmaids, food service staff and administration of the Scarborough General hospital who made my surgery a success.
After a serious accident in 2019 that resulted in multiple fractures of my femur, I was warded and operated on over the course of two weeks. My stay was made comfortable by the staff on the adult surgical ward, and the orthopedic team led by Dr. Harewood.
God's blessings and guidance upon each and everyone of you and your families. And continue to be safe during this pandemic.
Very bad hospital. I came there for a check of a broken toe. I took 4h just to do and x-ray and wait for the doctor to analyse it. Then he quickly asked a nurse to do a bandage, and she moved the broken toe, which was very bad for the fracture and painful as well! She thought it was just a "cut", the doctor did not tell her it was broken.

Made terrible experiences there while a friend almost lost her life by complete ignorance and incompetence of the doctors there. If you have serious troubles expect to fly out and get Your treatment somewhere else before getting an amputation or infection that might end Your life.
