Great experience at the women’s hospital ante and post natal. The hog I got in the delivery room was a one off, everyone else was helpful and very professional! The main hospital however is not as welcoming or efficient.

Nurses are unprofessional. Raised her voice at me because I came to the hosptital because I was in pain, utter nonsense

Bad attitude (non-professional) from security at the main entrance. They didnt know about new law about mask, that its 3 options: face mask, face shield or face covering. Security didnt allow to come to hospital with face shield, was rude with foreiner, said that have their own in hospital (maybe higher then goverment law). Security refused to show any written law why i cant come into hospital, just insisting that i can wear the face mask, not face shield.
So, i had very bad experience just on the entrance, never had such experience at any country where i travelled

I never came across much or any issues at Mt. Hope hospital I gave birth to my two children there and was treated very well. There are sometimes little hiccups but overall the experience wasn't bad at all.

In my wife's experience, when she was pregnant she said that all the nurses were very friendly and worked at a cooperative pace as they also have to tend to other clients. Pregnant women are tended to more quickly than others and the parking is great. Just, when you have the baby and are ready to be discharged they are really slow

Went in there on the 21st October 2019.
Waited 3hours to see a doctor,
Was go even an injection and asked to wait for a pint of blood which they would get from the blood bank after waiting till 1: 30am they said I can tell my family members to go home.
I was asked to sit on a chair and wait.
I waited there till the following morning and was asked to go to the ultrasound area to get and ultra sound done.
I was admitted to the ward at 9: 30am. Where I was then give the bag of blood, so basically I had to wait 13hrs yo be attended to and still the nurse had the audacity to tell me I can't bathe until the blood finishes, hahaha what a joke

Had my three girls there and recently had and operation. The nurses was so so good. Treated me really nice and not just me but all patients. I always know that hospital as a clean place because I had been there so many times that I have 2 vol of file. The cleaners don't clean as the ones they had back when I was having my kids between 1996-2005. Had a white bedroom slipper which turned black, they not swiping and mopping properly. Otherwise than that it's great.

Waited over 3 hours for an ultrasound. Then had to wait another 3 hours for a Doctor to read the results to me while there were over 5 nurses sitting in the waiting area. Teach your staff to multi task. The nurses can easily read the ultrasound results to patients while sitting around chatting. There are pregnant women in here vomiting and shivering because of the cold from the AC. I'm so disappointed.

Great service. Staff and security professional and courteous. I felt proud at the treatment received. I'm encouraged that Trinidad health services are getting there. Well done and thanks to the Doctors and nurses who attended to us.

I didn't have to wait that long to be attended to the doctor who attended to me was very kind and helpful!

My baby was born here in January 2018. He was a preemie, only 31 weeks, and had to spend 3 weeks in the NICU before he could come home. He is now a plump 2 1/2 month old and thriving. I am grateful to the doctors and nurses at the Mt. Hope Women's Hospital for all the care and support given to us throughout our stay. Most of the nurses and doctors were very helpful and caring. As a first time mother my experience was good. A special thanks to the nurses at the NICU who treated my baby as if he were their own!

The hospital is set in a scenic view of large open spaces, with trees and nice breezes.
The sculpture of the mother and baby always catches my attention. The maternity hospital is a separate unit and there is ample parking spaces. It is also very quiet.

I had my daughter at Mt. Hope and I must say the experience was pretty good. The doctors and nurses were very professional and helpful. They took good care of my daughter while she was there. For that, I am ever thankful!

Best treatment ever and it had some very nice nurses an doctor's that stood by me some Mornings and some evenings in between you will get a nurse that is like a real pig. But so far I've managed thank to prayers an people who love an stood by me.

I would like to say a sincere thank you to all the nurses and doctors from the emergency department straight to the gynaecology Ward. To nurse Regina at the emergency department thank u for your dedicated time and humor lol also to ur fellow staff who accompanied me in the ambulance thank you also for all your hard work and dedication. To doctor rampaul without your determination to ensure my problem I might not hav been alive today also to the accompanying staff of yours. Then to the gynaecology Ward all the nurses there are so loving and kind.each and every one of you who attended to room 205 bed#1 I mus say thank you for everything you all are the best. I will admit I was frighten for my life wen I heard i had to com at Mt.hope but I mus say u all made me feel like I was at home.thank you for exceptional service and I do hope others could see the dedicated determined staff that you all are.sorry whose names I can't remember but U know who you are!
